One caveat...  If you've got a UPS between the genset and the load, you
need to actually double the _maximum capacity of the UPS_ rather than
double the _actual load_.  UPSes tend to dump the full load plus the
battery recharge load all at once, which is a lot of instantaneous
application of torque to the genset.  Takes a bit of an oversize engine to
power through that without stalling.
