I'm not sure I am going to answer this right, but when i split channels,
each color (RGB which prints CMY respectively) is a grayscale neg that I
then a)print in black ink only checked in my printer driver (this is my old
method) or b)change to RGB mode in Photoshop and then fill with my color of
choice in a particular way that does not print any other color. Then, of
course, with that you make sure to use no color correction in your printer
dialogue box.
