Try adding a few drops of 40% citric acid to the emulsion just prior to
coating. That will keep the emulsion from reacting to the paper. I have been
able to print on almost any paper simply by increasing or decreasing the
amout (# of drops) of citric acid used. For most papers I use 3-4 drops. It
will also increase the tonal range by about 1 to 1-1/2 stops.

Hope this helps, Scott
