[ale] Rename br0 interface in Debian

I've replaced my router with a J1900 mini-computer with 4 ports. 1 port is bridge name br1 (only one member), and the other 3 is part of br0.
I'd like to change the name of br1 to wan0 and br0 to lan0 to avoid confusion, but I'm having a hard time finding examples to use with /etc/networks/interfaces
On my old i586 based fw I had used ntop in the past to show me what was coming across the wan and where it was coming from. This device is faster and has 4 cores. Is there anything like ntop, but more reporting options in the web interface?
Chris
