You're totally offbase. It's Anarchists  vs Libertarians who think they
are, and some even write code. AFAICT this was NEVER a 'pure coders
list'. There ARE going to be ebbs and flows between the junctures of
politics and pervasive surveillance, it's amelioration, and tidy code
.... and an occasional stack overflow too.
