How about frames that sandwich art bewteen TWO sheets of glass? Voila! NO
matting whatsoever, but then you're dealing with whatever is on your walls.
(Sorry if this was already suggested.) Framing and matting is precisely why
I've gone into imaging on fabric, which I use to create 3D as well as
wallhung works --- no frames at all. But a well framed print is always
SHARP! :)
