> That's because setting your workgroup to WORKGROUP is considered a security risk. It kinda like setting your password to "password", or more akin to setting SNMP write permissions to PUBLIC. Setting your workgroup to WORKGROUP just makes it easier for "just anyone" to stumble onto your machine if you don't have it properly secured, behind a firewall, etc.
