[ale] Does Certification Matter

From my perspective with the company I work for:

This is priority order for a resume':

Education (a college degree)
work experience
certification

Enough work experience at the right level may override the lack of a
degree. Certification will not override work experience or education
when it comes to hiring.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
