[mob] Portmaster / console server recommendations

So - Once upon an ISP, I would connect to a Livingston Portmaster to then
attach to the console of a given Unix server. It was simple and to the point.
Occasionally you would have to bump someone off a port, but it wasn't so bad.

It's been a number of years since I had to work on machines with consoles.
Now I'm back in a server room full of traditional unix servers. However, the
server room is without any notion of a console server.

Most of the machines aren't using their consoles, and the few that are, have
old-school WYSE or Sequent terminals attached. (Turns out they don't handle
220V very well - guess what voltage comes out of the accesory power cables on
the back of a Sun 6000? Guess who set two terminals on _fire_ before taking
out the multimeter...)

So - What are the cool kids using for their console servers these days? I
don't need an appliance with embedded linux running ssh, or anything so fancy.
Just a device as simple as a portmaster, that will be directly networked to
one machine. It won't be doing any dial-in support, either. If worse gets to
worse, I may just buy a portmaster off ebay, but I would prefer to have
something that's still supported.

Any recommendations or stories would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
